Raving Guerrilla · Wotama Bridge
野迪 · 混蛋蓝桥
At the time, China’s underground music scene was undergoing what might be called a “guerrilla era,” as party organisers, constrained by regulatory pressures, were pushed into non-traditional and often precarious spaces for gathering. Together, we confronted a pressing question: when guerrilla becomes not a tactic but the only remaining mode of existence, how might sonic practice and the moving body trace an escape line into the night?
Staging events that are always on the verge of being shut down, we pursued the very last margins of possibility—precisely because every next second could be the last, every present second had to resound as a corporeal outcry.
